Every year the Haldimand Curling Club donates the Pig Fund (money collected from members for Hog Line violations) to a deserving local charity. This year the donation went to The Alzheimer Society of Haldimand, Norfolk.
The Alzheimer Society of Haldimand Norfolk, is dedicated to providing essential programs and services designed to optimize the lives of individuals living with dementias (such as Alzheimers) and their care partners.

On September 3, 2026, a cheque for 1,115 dollars was presented to Carolyn Meahan of the Alzheimer Society.
